What we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer with strong expertise in Auth0 and Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM), combined with solid knowledge of OKTA technologies. 

This role focuses on delivering secure and scalable authentication solutions for customer-facing applications, while contributing to the evolution of the overall identity ecosystem. 

As part of a global Identity & Access Engineering team, you will design and maintain identity solutions, ensuring a balance between security, user experience, and operational efficiency. 

 

Responsibilites:

  • Auth0 Engineering & Configuration: Design, implement, and maintain authentication and authorisation solutions using Auth0, including user flows, rules/actions, and identity federation.
  • Customer Identity (CIAM): Develop and optimise customer identity journeys, ensuring seamless and secure user experiences across applications.
  • OKTA Core Support & Enhancement: Configure and maintain OKTA core functionalities such as SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment with global IAM standards.
  • Cybersecurity & ISPM Contribution: Participate in the implementation and monitoring of identity security controls, including Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) features.
  • OKTA Workflows Contribution: Contribute to the development of workflows for automation of identity processes (basic to intermediate complexity).
  • Integration & APIs: Integrate identity platforms with applications using standard protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML) and APIs.
  • Incident & Problem Support: Provide support for complex identity-related issues and contribute to root cause analysis and remediation actions.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure authentication mechanisms and identity processes comply with security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with application teams, product teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders to design and implement appropriate identity solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of configurations, architectures, and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improving identity services, tools, and practices.
  • Agile Methodology: Participate in agile team activities and manage tasks using a Kanban approach

 

Requirements:

Technical Skills (Preferred) 

  • Auth0: Advanced expertise (CIAM, authentication flows, rules/actions) 
  • OKTA Core: Solid experience (SSO, MFA, lifecycle management) 
  • OKTA Workflows: Basic to intermediate understanding. 
  • Identity Protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML 
  • ISPM / Security: Basic exposure to identity security concepts 
  • API integration (REST, JSON)  

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience 
  • Proven experience in Identity & Access Management, preferably in a large international environment 
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory 
  • Strong hands-on experience with OKTA platform and related technologies 
  • Experience working in engineering or advanced support (L3) roles 
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (OKTA, IAM, security) are a strong plus 
  • Experience with automation and workflow tools in IAM context is highly desirable
