is looking for a person for position of:

Intraday Trader

location: Katowice

Main responsibilities:

·          concluding sales/purchase transactions on the power market (mainly TGE Intraday and

·          spot market),

·          managing the electricity position, with a particular focus on the renewable energy portfolio (RES),

·          develop strategies to maximize portfolio performance,

·          analyzing short-term price trends, including support for calibrating and updating pricing models (Intraday vs balancing market),

·          regular analysis of contractual positions (especially RES) and improving the quality of forecasts in the short-term horizon,

·          executing P&L for managed positions and ensuring transparent and regular reporting,

·          close cooperation with other departments and companies within the Group (Brussels, Paris), including the central BP Power Trading,

collaboration in the area of energy storage systems (BESS) development and their commercial applications,

·          operating information exchange systems with energy market participants,

·          monitoring and managing market and operational risks,

·          working non-standard hours.

Candidate profile:

·          university degree, preferred fields: mathematics, technical, economics,

·          minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position,

·          TGE broker license and knowledge of electricity market mechanisms in Poland and Europe,

·          pragmatic, economic, and logical approach combined with problem-solving skills,

·          knowledge of the fundamentals in the power markets,

·          strong analytical and programming skills: Data analysis, ability to build models

·          good knowledge of IT/IS applications and tools, especially practical ability to apply new IT solutions in portfolio management and trading,

·          advanced level of English.
