HR OPERATIONS MANAGER (f/m)

Job Description
ENGIE Poland is seeking an experienced HR leader to manage and further develop HR operations across multiple entities within the ENGIE Group in Poland. The HR Operations Manager will play a key role in standardizing and optimizing HR processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational transformation initiatives.
In addition to overseeing payroll and HR administration, the role also includes responsibility for recruitment operations and training administration, ensuring a seamless employee lifecycle experience.
The position is based in Katowice, will report to the Country HR Director and will require 20% business travel across Poland.
Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Payroll
- Manage and coordinate the HR administration and payroll team
- Prepare the organization for changes in the payroll process (possible new system implementation, consolidation & reporting, etc) with the aim to standardize and optimize HR administration and payroll processes
- Ensure compliance with labor law and internal policies and in this respect actively cooperate with C&B and POS CoE’s
- Collaborate with other support functions, such as: IT, Finance, Ethics & Compliance and various external providers
- Ensure Group policies and procedures in his / her area of expertise are implemented for all entities in Poland
- Maintain the relationship with labor authorities and represent Engie during inspections; report to management and implement recommendations following inspections
- Prepare reports and analyses for management, as requested
- Actively collaborate with HRBP’s through whom the connection with the GBU’s is ensured
Recruitment Operations
- Ensure that the Group TA module is adopted and used according to the group rules
- Ensure group recruitment policy and rules implementation, including due diligence process for sensitive positions
- Advise HRBPs using market data and insights
- Post job ads and ensure visibility
- Manage sourcing of candidates
- Screen and select candidates
- Run and coordinate interviews for the hiring managers, prepare thorough interview reports
- Manage offer build-up and documentation and ensure good candidate experience
- Monitor the compliance with the TA KPI’s set by the Group
Training Administration
- Ensure that the Group Learning module is adopted and used according to the group rules
- Coordinate the processes of
- Creating learning items in the system
- Managing class bookings
- Assigning learning items to employees
- Managing cancellations and updates
- Recording attendance and completion
- Implement Group learning initiatives and events and take actions to enhance employees attendance and interest
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing HR operations with a specialization of HR Administration and Payroll, or similar field
- University degree in relevant field
- Strong knowledge of labor law and HR administration, payroll, recruitment
- Previous experience with recruitment and/ or training administration represents a plus
- Strong experience with HR systems
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Polish and English
