In response to booming demand for energy services from leading tech corporates, ENGIE has launched the Data Centers Acceleration Team (DCAT), a dedicated organization built to serve the specific needs of the data center ecosystem. Leveraging ENGIE’s sizeable global portfolio of 1,000+ generation and flexibility sites, DCAT enables access to powered land, grid connections, and long‑term energy supply from standard grid delivery to sophisticated 24/7 as‑consumed products.
As part of this reference sales team, you’ll market ENGIE’s products and services to a targeted set of counterparts in the tech industry, combining commercial prospecting, opportunity qualification, strategic negotiation, and end‑to‑end deal execution.
ACT NOW! – Your responsibilities:
- Develop strategic relationships with data center operators, hyperscalers, and technical stakeholders; understand their priorities and convert them into commercial opportunities.
- Drive commercial prospecting and qualify opportunities in collaboration with internal experts (origination, risk, legal, asset and operations teams).
- Structure, price, and negotiate long‑term energy contracts (e.g., renewables, grid supply, flexibility solutions) aligned with customer needs and ENGIE objectives.
- Build robust business cases including pricing, margin analysis, and risk assessments; present proposals clearly to expert and non‑expert audiences.
- Monitor market and regulatory factors relevant to large power consumers (e.g., PPAs, flexibility products, grid constraints).
- Support DCAT’s go‑to‑market by refining value propositions for powered land access, grid connection pathways, and long‑term supply solutions including 24/7 as‑consumed offerings.
Your profile:
- Strategic Relationship Builder
Build trusted, long‑term relationships with data center operators, hyperscalers, and technical stakeholders. - Commercial & Deal Structuring Skills
Structure, price, and negotiate long‑term energy contracts while managing risk and margins. - Energy Market Know‑How
Understand wholesale markets, PPAs, flexibility products, grid constraints, and regulation for large consumers. - Adaptable Communicator & Problem Solver
Navigate complexity and clearly explain technical energy topics to diverse audiences. - Relevant Background & International Mindset
Degree in Finance, Business, or similar; 3+ years’ experience; fluent in English, additional languages a plus.
