What You Can Expect

As a Project Management Intern, you will support the PM team in delivering utility projects that are constructed according to specifications, perform as designed, and meet established budget and schedule requirements. Working closely alongside experienced Project Managers, you will gain exposure to various responsibilities, including collaborating with engineering partners to understand system designs, procuring materials and labor aligned with validated drawings, and enforcing strict health and safety standards. Throughout the project lifecycle—from initiation to operational handover to our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team—you will assist the PM, who serves as the primary point of contact and information resource for clients.

 

  • Maintains project schedules, provides regular progress updates—including schedule, budget, and cost reporting—to internal stakeholders, clients, and external parties as required
  • Collaborates with engineering, operations, and procurement teams (both internal and external) to define project objectives, produce deliverables such as construction drawings, and manage supplier contracts

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring                      

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • A proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range: $21.00 – $25.00 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
