What You Can Expect
As our Pricing for Retail Power Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with key business systems to develop an understanding of power pricing. You will support the pricing process, assist in product design, and help deliver retail pricing solutions to customers. Throughout the internship, you will also build tools to analyze electricity markets and demonstrate the value of ENGIE’s product offerings. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Finance or Risk Management. The internship provides an opportunity to further develop professional skills in applied finance, analytics, product design, and load analysis.
This position is based in Houston, TX, and runs from June 1, 2026, through August 15, 2026.
- Assist in Pricing & Structuring of retail power products
- Support the development of enhance pricing models and tools
- Conduct mathematical analysis of price, usage, and demand for specific products
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis, guided by Pricing Manager(s) for specific products and markets
- Leverage applied mathematics, econometrics, or statistics to provide deeper insights
- Any and all analysis will be confidential, and work product will be documented
What You’ll Bring
- Must be at least a sophomore (by end of spring semester) working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s student working towards a Master’s in Finance or Data Science degree
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of in-office and work-from home opportunities required 40 hours/week, depending on academic schedule
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $22.50 - $33.50 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
