We have a 13 month FTC maternity opportunity for an Insights & Research Lead in our Leeds office. As Insights & Research Lead, you will shape how ENGIE Energy Supply UK listens, learns, and acts. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions, customer experience, and business growth.

 

Summary of what you will do

 

- Lead end-to-end customer and competitor insight projects, delivering clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.

- Design and manage annual research programmes, including questionnaire development, agency management, and survey platform testing.

- Own key customer service metrics such as NPS, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Experience, and drive improvements across the business.

- Develop and manage a Brand Tracker programme to measure market awareness and support executive-level brand positioning.

- Build tools and frameworks to monitor the competitor landscape and identify threats and opportunities for ENGIE.

- Report monthly to key stakeholders on insight programme outcomes and strategic findings.

- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Data Protection teams to ensure all research activity meets internal policies.

 

What you will bring to the role

 

- Proven experience managing research and insight projects from scoping through to delivery, ideally in a B2B environment.

- Strong knowledge of the energy industry and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

- Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at executive level with confidence and clarity.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work across multiple data sources simultaneously.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and data visualisation.

- A degree-level qualification or equivalent; Market Research Society (MRS) training is a plus.

- A curious, commercially minded mindset with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.

 

Location

 

This is a hybrid role at our Leeds office where you will be based a min of 2 days per week.
