WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are seeking an experienced and strategic IT Functional Analyst to lead the adoption and integration of our new global metering platform in Italy, in the context of the B2B/Giants meter-to-cash process.
You will act as the bridge between the global MDP (Metering Data Product) product team and Italian stakeholders. As the lead functional expert for Italy, your mission will be to conduct a thorough gap analysis between the platform's features and specific local business and regulatory requirements. You will work to ensure that MDP is not only successfully implemented but also enables more efficient business processes and impeccable data quality, laying the groundwork for the future replacement of legacy systems.
You will have to do the following tasks:
- Gap Analysis & Localization: Deeply analyze the metering features (including its roadmap) and compare them against the requirements of the Italian market. Identify gaps and define the necessary configurations or customizations;
- Data Quality & Completion Rule Definition: Lead workshops with business units to define and formalize the complex data quality and completion rules that will be implemented in the platform's new framework;
- Functional Design: Translate business and regulatory requirements into detailed functional specifications for the development teams, with a special focus on integration flows between the new metering platform and local systems (e.g., Billing, CRM);
- Liaison with the Global Product Team: Serve as the primary point of contact for the central metering team, conveying the needs of the Italian market and ensuring they are considered in the product's evolution;
- Validation and UAT: Design test plans to validate the correct implementation of functionalities and support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases;
- Strategic Synergies: Collaborate with IT architecture to assess and plan how the metering platform can be leveraged in the future to replace other legacy metering system, maximizing the investment.
- Degree in STEM disciplines (Engineering, Computer Science);
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst within the Energy & Utilities sector;
- Proven experience in implementing complex IT platforms, preferably in an international context (global vs. local);
- Deep knowledge of metering and meter data management processes;
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and stakeholder management skills at various levels;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mediate between technical and business needs.
Highly desirable:
- Specific knowledge of Data Quality and Data Governance frameworks;
- Experience in defining requirements for APIs and integration services;
- Previous experience working on the adoption of global "core" platforms in specific countries;
- Familiarity with ARERA regulations related to metering;
- Proficiency in SQL for independent data analysis.
Type of contract:
Permanent contract according to local labour law.
