What You Can Expect

As our Transaction Management Advisor, will oversee and deliver service management for both internal and external customers, ensuring accurate data management and reporting for customer account creation within systems. You will lead a team through utility market processes, ensuring timely enrollment and precise billing. Additionally, you will support corporate capital and operational projects. This position is based in Houston, TX, reporting to the Transaction Manager.

 

Oversee a team responsible for essential tasks related to contract management and transaction management, including managing both market and non-market transaction data in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, which interfaces with the EDI and Billing system to process inbound and outbound market enrollment and billing transactions

Document, report and resolve all issues by analyzing data through Excel, Access, SQL and Share Point. Communicate findings via email, through conferences and meetings across team, organization and markets. Provide effective recommendations to support organization and operational goals

 

What You’ll Bring

You hold a Bachelor's degree or in leu of a degree we will accept six (6) years of retail utility experience

A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a senior operations analytical role, involving utility transactions and workflows, with a desire to lead and manage people

You are a detail-oriented professional with strong administrative skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to influence stakeholders with effective recommendations to support organizational and operational goals

You will identify and implement process improvements, troubleshoot and resolve transaction issues, and serve as a liaison across departments to address contract and workflow challenges

You have extensive experience managing utility industry EDI transactions, including customer registration, billing updates, and end-of-term processes

You are knowledgeable in root cause analysis, process optimization, and leveraging tools like SharePoint, Oracle, Excel, Access, and Power BI to drive efficiency

You are a proactive problem solver who can set expectations, mentor senior analysts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operations

You will ensure compliance with ENGIE policies while managing multiple tasks accurately, coordinating meetings, and effectively communicating at all organizational levels

 

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy three (3) days in-office, two (2) days remote

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 – $125,540 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
