What You Can Expect
As the Project Development Associate you will support site origination and development of distributed solar and solar + storage projects for ENGIE’s Distributed Solar and Storage (DSS) business in the United States. They will work on managing several tasks to support land to support land acquisition, permitting, environmental review, pre-construction and other aspects of solar energy and storage project development to ultimately fulfill the company's renewable energy aspirations and growth strategy within North America.
- Support development team in progressing multi project solar and storage portfolios across multiple states
- Performing due diligence for project sites to avoid development challenges and ensure all legal documents are executed
- Help maintain the pipeline date for projects under development in various stages
- Prepare and Support the preparation and presentation for project/market reviews both at the DSS level
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, Engineering, or related fields
- General understanding of renewable energy market trends
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- This role is a temporary contract with no guarantee of future employment beyond the initial 6-month term
- Must be available to travel domestically 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $36.00-$55.14 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
