What You Can Expect

As the Project Coordinator Analyst Senior, based in Houston, TX you will be a member of our Project Management Office (PMO) team.  You will work as a vital member of our project teams supporting Project Managers in preparing project reports, project planning, and analyzing information to support the ongoing delivery of our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.  In addition, as part of the PMO team, the Project Coordinator Analyst Senior will be involved in developing document templates, monitoring ongoing projects against key performance indicators (KPIs), developing and maintaining cost data, and assisting with the development of lessons learned on projects. This is an entry level project management role and successful candidates will aspire to become Project Managers for physical construction of BESS and other renewable energy assets.

 

Reporting to the Project Management Office (PMO) Leader, your primary duties encompass:

  • Provides project management for projects in development through construction
  • Assists Project Managers with preparation of a delivery plan (including schedule) for specific projects considering safety, health, environmental, permit, commercial, design, contracting and construction requirements
  • Helps the Project Manager track the project budget to enable accurate cost tracking and forecasting of project costs
  • Assists the Project Manager by ensuring that all ENGIE safety requirements are properly included in project documents and plans
  • Assists with project stakeholder communications including periodic reporting and change management and communication
  • Assists with reviews and approvals of project invoices and expenses to assure contract payments are processed for timely payment with proper cost account coding
  • Helps monitor project cash flow requirements to properly schedule project funding requirements for internal or third-party financial participation
  • Helps measure project performance relying on KPI’s for engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and start-up to report monthly, identifying variances and taking corrective actions to achieve project objectives
  • Controls the project scope and delivery plan developing appropriate change requests for approval by applicable stakeholders
  • Closes all supplier contracts associated with the project delivery including settlement of claims with support from assigned Contract Management staff
  • Assists with preparation of final Lessons Learned reports as a reference document for future projects
  • Within the PMO, executes assignments relative to establishing document templates, analyzing project costs, schedule, and performance
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, civil engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum three (3) years’ of professional work experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to function as a member of a multi-function team
  • A strong interest in developing skills and learning how to manage physical construction projects related to renewable energy assets
  • Strong capabilities in accurately gathering and analyzing data, as well as preparing written documents using proper English grammar
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) MS Project and other office software

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 35% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • An ability to exhibit flexibility which may require late night and/or weekend attention to address project related issues
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $62,400 – $95,450 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
