What You Can Expect

As our Product Owner, you will be responsible for bridging the vision and roadmap of the Product Management Director with the actions and outputs of the Design and Delivery teams. This role requires a balance of business acumen and technical knowledge of our systems. You will play an integral part in shaping solution designs and plans and act as the approver for system changes. Additionally, you will own the product backlog, creating, clarifying, and prioritizing it based on various requests. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Director of Product Management.

 

 

  • Maintain a deep understanding of product use cases and features, and act as the primary point of collaboration between the Product Team and Design and Delivery teams
  • Participate in the development of Product Roadmaps and intake modification requests from all stakeholders, ensuring completeness, clarity, and visibility of product backlogs
  • Prioritize product backlogs based on a thorough understanding of business impact and navigate competing priorities
  • Work with Product, Design, and Delivery teams to define product releases, participate in sprint planning, and guide the delivery team
  • Accept or reject product changes based on adherence to standards and quality metrics, and approve deployments based on solution readiness
  • Participate in UAT to ensure changes meet stakeholder needs and optimize delivery team efforts to maximize business value

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Technical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Business, IT solution delivery, Agile concepts and practices or related field
  • A minimum of three (3) years of Retail Energy Industry, IT Product Management or related field
  • You have consulting experience with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving change
  • You are knowledgeable with technology and Product Management communities
  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 10% of the and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $96,100 – $134,820 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus
