IT Manager, Cloud Infrastructure & Operations- Global Business Services

As our IT Manager, Cloud Operations-Global Business Services, you will lead the operations of all IT & Digital infrastructure across North America locations. You will be actively involved in overseeing the infrastructure operations team with six (6) direct reports, ensuring reliable, flexible, and adaptable IT infrastructure aligned with business unit requirements and SLAs. You will lead the IT operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and ensuring professionalism. Every day, you will offer support to the service desk team and produce monthly reports on system uptime, capacity, and Cloud cost allocation. Additionally, you will lead infrastructure incident management, serve as the point of contact during active incidents, and adhere to defined policies and standards.

 

  • Manage proactive system and process improvement through regular review of KPIs, chronic system issues, and escalation tickets
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless project delivery, develop IT infrastructure operations standards, and work on proactive system and process improvements
  • Provide escalation support, produce monthly reports on system metrics, and lead infrastructure incident management
  • Adhere to defined policies and standards, identify resource needs, evaluate team performance, and stay updated on emerging technologies

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Technology and Operations
  • A minimum seven (7) + years’ minimum experience in Information Systems
  • You are certified in technology disciplines: VMWare, Microsoft, and Azure
  • You possess in-depth expertise in managing hybrid cloud environments (On-Premise Data Centers, Azure, AWS)
  • You are proficient in operations, monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • You enjoy strong technical leadership, team management, and IT design and operations management skills
  • You possess a strong technical background and experience in leadership roles

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy with a minimum of two (2) days working in the Houston, TX office.
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $117,600 – $172,500 USD annually

 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
