What You Can Expect

As a Head of US Global Market Analytics, you will report to CEO of ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA) and you will lead a team that provides market analysis of North American natural gas and power markets for internal and external clients.

 

  • Analyze and track fundamentals of the North American natural gas market over the short and medium term horizon
  • Develop and maintain North American Gas Supply/Demand models
  • Develop and maintain regional natural gas balances
  • Analyze and track fundamentals of the North American Power markets over the short and medium term horizon and Independent System Operators (ISO’s) to include, but not be limited to, Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), Southwest Power Pool (SPP), Pennsylvania New Jersey Maryland Interconnection (PJM), California Independent System Operator (CAISO)
  • Supervise development and maintenance full dispatch power stack models
  • Support traders on ad-hoc analysis on various subjects related to gas and power markets
  • Work within and coordinate with Global Energy Management (GEM) global market analysis teams

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in which you completed courses in relevant business discipline (Engineering, Business, Finance, Mathematics)
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in energy markets fundamental analysis
  • Proven track record in developing value added analysis for trading activities and customer development
  • Familiarity with  Day-Ahead Locational Market Clearing Prices Analyzer (Dayzer)
  • Fluency in Data Science
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience building and managing a team

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $184,200 – $275,310 USD annually 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
