What You Can Expect

As our Business Controls, Senior Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the business controls function across ENGIE’s Supply, Power, and Gas divisions. In this key position, you will contribute to maintaining a robust control environment by working closely with business process owners to ensure all internal control documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing efforts to enhance and streamline control processes. This position sits in Houston, TX reporting to the Senior Advisor of Business Controls.

  • Coordinate and perform controls testing to evaluate control effectiveness
  • ​Gather and coordinate the centralization and maintenance of critical business policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with all organizational levels to meet internal control program requirements
  • Collect incidents reports and log incidents ensuring timely resolution
  • Conduct root cause analysis of incidents, to identify new risks and ensure corrective actions are thorough and complete
  • Assist in process improvements by providing recommendations to support more efficient controls
  • ​Develop reports and analyze trends related to risks and controls

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold bachelor's degree or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience where you gained experience in Risk Management, Quality or Controls  identifying and mitigating risks, root cause analysis and incident resolution
  • You are Lean or Six Sigma certified or currently progressing towards certification

  • You have strong interpersonal and analytical skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and departments
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, and Lucid Chart to support data analysis and project management
  • You are deadline-driven with excellent time management skills, ensuring timely completion of tasks across multiple projects
  • You are knowledgeable in conducting root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • You have the ability to manage projects across various business lines, stepping in to assist staff when necessary

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy with a minimum of three (3) days in office
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $74,500 – $114,195 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
