At EMS (European Maintenance Support), inside the Electrical Engineering team, we are currently looking for a High Voltage Engineer (M/F/X).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as High Voltage Engineer
- You take the lead in high-voltage equipment replacement projects, guiding them from initial study through to successful commissioning of the new systems.
- You enjoy diving into the technical details and contributing to the analysis and design of high voltage equipment.
- You’re motivated to grow into a subject matter expert, supporting both ENGIE and external sites with your knowledge and insights.
- You investigate incidents and non-conformities during outages, conducting Root-Cause Analyses and proposing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- You continuously build your expertise by sharing lessons learned internally and engaging in knowledge exchange through internal and external networks.
- You provide support to multiple power plants, offering guidance on protection relays, paralleling devices, and fault recorders.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goal
YOUR PROFILE as High Voltage Engineer
- You hold a Master Degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering in Electricity/Power Systems/Energy.
- You have a strong interest in and a deep understanding of high voltage equipment such as power transformers, current/voltage transformers, circuit breakers.
- You have a professional knowledge of English and French/Dutch.
- You hold strong analytical skills, you are a problem solver and want to further develop your knowledge in the electrical field in order to become a reference in this domain inside and outside ENGIE.
- You are a true team player who works together towards common goals.
- You are result driven.
- You are a good communicator and are able to collaborate with various types of people: both technicians and engineers.
- You are mobile and have a valid European driving license
- Previous experience with OEMs is a plus
- You always take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues!

- A permanent contract with a competitive salary package consisting of:
- A monthly salary according to your technical knowledge and experience. Annual salary increase in January according to scales of the energy sector.
