Your mission

The Buildings department is responsible for all engineering activities related to the architectural and technical design of nearly all types of buildings, including utility and residential buildings, hospitals, industrial facilities, sports buildings, …

The team consists of 35 employees.

Your responsibilities as Project Engineer HVAC:

  • You lead, motivate, coach, and manage a small project team of mono‑disciplinary technical engineers and modelers for your projects.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the budget, schedule, and quality of the engineering activities are delivered according to requirements. You ensure that assigned projects are executed in compliance with our quality system and health and safety regulations.

  • You regularly report on the progress of all your projects.

  • You participate in the HVAC design of your projects:

    • assessing the most suitable technical solutions
    • preparing feasibility studies, design principles, and detailed engineering
    • cost estimates
  • You respond proactively to the wishes and needs of the client.

  • You prepare and submit quotations and contracts.

  • You stay up to date with standards, guidelines, and new techniques and developments in your field and report on these to your team members or colleagues.

  • You collaborate constructively with colleagues, external partners (such as architects, other design and engineering offices, contractors during the construction phase, etc.), and clients.

  • You have an international mindset and collaborate with our offices abroad for certain engineering tasks, taking the necessary measures to ensure the required quality.

We would like to hear from people with:

  • A Master’s degree as an Industrial Engineer (Electricity/HVAC) or related;

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing HVAC installations;

  • A very good command of Dutch and English at a high level; French is an asset.
