Sr. Engineer/Deputy Manager/Manager- Renewable Energy (Wind)

Job Location: Gurgaon

Position Overview:

You will be working under the project manager for the initial period prior to working independently as the Project Manager.

Primary Responsibility:

• Must have good knowledge of wind power plant designing concepts.
• Proficient to carry out energy yield for wind plants independently using simulation software such as WindPRO, WindFarmer, CFD based models etc. Hands-on experience on various softwares used for wind plant energy yield assessment like Windographer, WAsP, WindPRO, WindFarmer, any CFD based model. Experience in extracting measured raw wind data files and its processing, data filtration, MCP analysis, Long Term Data Correlation- MERRA-2, ERA-5, Vortex data etc. will be preferable.
• Good knowledge of wind turbine components, present technology development trend.
• Experience in independently preparing Resource assessment and Energy Yield Assessment reports for Wind Power projects
• Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, power point presentation.

Other Requirements & Expectations:

• Knowledge of Google Sketchup, AutoCAD or similar software
• Experience with data analytic software such as Power BI, Tableu etc. although not essential but preferable.
• Experience in independently preparing Techno-commercial feasibility study, Detailed Project Report, for Wind Power projects.
• Able to provide support in pre bid engineering, detailed engineering design.
• Experience of working in wind power projects and knowledge/experience in solar power, other renewable energies, hybrid projects, energy storage concepts will be an added advantage.
• Creating documents, writing reports according to specifications.
• Capable to conduct research and traveling to sites.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Responsible for planning, coordination and completion of projects on time.
• Time management and professionalism.

Your Profile:

• Master’s Degree in Energy Studies/Energy System Engineering/ Renewable Energy with major in Wind Energy, Preferably from Electrical Engineering background
• 6+ years of experience in the renewable industry, preferably in consulting, in the above areas
• Good written & verbal communication skills in English
• Good organizing abilities and good in prioritizing tasks and co-ordination
• Ability to function in teams spread across different geographies
• You will work on various projects to requiring technical skills in the following areas:
• Wind/ Solar/ Hybrid/ Storage Projects
• Basic Engineering/ Detailed Engineering/ Owner’s Engineering / Lender’s Engineering
