We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy team in Gurgaon. You will shape the design of combined cycle power plants, working on first-of-their-kind projects that push the boundaries of engineering excellence. Your expertise will directly contribute to delivering cleaner, more efficient energy solutions.

 

 

- Provide technical leadership in the basic and detailed design of main plant components, including Gas Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and Steam Turbines.

- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed project reports to assess viability and guide decision-making on combined cycle power plant projects.

- Prepare essential design documentation such as Design Criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, system descriptions, sizing calculations, RFPs, and tender evaluations.

- Coordinate with equipment vendors to ensure components meet required international standards and project specifications.

- Apply international standards including ASME, HEI, ASME-TDP, API, and HIS across all design activities.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering solutions.

 

 

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

- 18+ years of experience in mechanical engineering with a strong track record in combined cycle power plant design.

- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems and pumps used in combined cycle applications.

- Proven expertise in preparing design documentation, feasibility studies, and vendor evaluations.

- Strong familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME, HEI, API, and ASME-TDP.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

- Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing multiple projects and guiding engineering teams.
