Your mission
As HSE Officer in our Transmission & Distribution department, you will be responsible for ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance during the execution of TRANSCO projects in the UAE. You will monitor site activities, enforce safety procedures, and promote a strong safety culture across all project stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and regulations at project sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to ensure safe working practices.
- Ensure compliance with TRANSCO HSE requirements and UAE regulatory standards.
- Review contractors’ HSE plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Record, investigate, and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Promote awareness and deliver HSE training sessions for site staff and contractors.
- Support Resident Engineer and project leadership in ensuring a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate HSE statistics and prepare weekly/monthly safety reports.

Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects in the UAE.

- Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations, TRANSCO HSE standards, and international safety practices.
- Skilled in conducting site inspections, audits, and safety investigations.
- Able to coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and clients on HSE matters.

- Proactive, detail-oriented, and safety-driven mindset.
- Ability to work in multicultural teams and under demanding project conditions.
