Job Description
ENGIE Poland is seeking an experienced HR leader to manage and further develop HR operations across multiple entities within the ENGIE Group in Poland. The HR Operations Manager will play a key role in standardizing and optimizing HR processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting organizational transformation initiatives.
In addition to overseeing payroll and HR administration, the role also includes responsibility for recruitment operations and training administration, ensuring a seamless employee lifecycle experience.
The position is based in Katowice or in Warsaw (to be defined taking into account the candidate's location), will report to the Country HR Director and will require 20% business travel across Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the HR Operations, Payroll, and Learning Administration teams.
- Drive the standardization, optimization, and digital transformation of HR and payroll processes across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with labor law, internal policies, and ENGIE Group standards.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Expertise, and key stakeholders including Finance, IT, and Compliance.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment operations, ensuring an excellent candidate experience and adherence to Group recruitment policies.
- Manage learning administration processes and support the implementation of global learning initiatives.
- Deliver HR reports, analyses, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Represent the company during external audits and inspections and maintain relationships with relevant authorities and external providers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing HR operations with a specialization of HR Administration and Payroll, or similar field
- University degree in relevant field
- Strong knowledge of Polish labor law and HR administration, payroll, recruitment
- Previous experience with recruitment and/ or training administration represents a plus
- Strong experience with HR systems
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Polish and English
- Willingness to business trips in Poland, between the entities
- Knowledge of SAP Success Factors is a plus
