What You Can Expect
As our Transaction Analyst II, you will thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail are critical. This team manages time-sensitive transactions and supports key operational processes that directly impact the organization's financial performance and profit-and-loss results. A core responsibility of the team is supporting our corporate enrollment guarantee program, which helps ensure a seamless transition for customers moving to and from energy suppliers. As a result, this role plays an important part in delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining relationships that can influence future business opportunities. This position offers significant exposure to cross-functional teams, opportunities for professional development, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on business outcomes.
The role is based in Houston, Texas, and reports to the Transaction Manager.
What You’ll Bring
- You hold a High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. In lieu of a degree a combination of education and relevant work experience may also be considered
- A minimum of two (2) years’ work related experience in processing of Utility Market Transactions in ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, and/or ISO-NE
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- You are a self-starter who can independently prioritize work, troubleshoot issues, and drive tasks through to resolution
- You have experience working with back-office processes such as enrollments, billing, exception handling, drops, and change transactions
- You have strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, organize, and analyze transaction data using CRM and reporting systems Excel, Access, Power BI, SharePoint, Oracle
- You are knowledgeable in EDI enrollment and drop transactions, customer account reconciliation, and managing service level agreements (SLAs) in a high-volume operational environment
- You are knowledgeable in resolving transaction issues and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders using tools such as CRM platforms, vendor systems (e.g., MarkeTrak, Adminitrak, RightNow), and collaboration tools like Teams
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, three (3) days in office, two (2) remote
- This role requires availability to work as late as 6:00 PM once per week to support business needs and ensure timely completion of operational requirements
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $63,300 – $96,945 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
