What You Can Expect

As a Sales Support Analyst I, your primary responsibility will be to manage the setup and preparation of retail electricity bids using internal sales management tools. In this role, you will collaborate closely with ENGIE Resources sales personnel, customers, and brokers to ensure accurate pricing details and contract execution requirements are obtained and processed efficiently. This position is based in Houston, TX and reports to the Sales Manager.

 

 

  • Proactively manage pricing requests from partners and direct sales in all Engie Resources services areas relying on organizational skills to properly prioritize and ensure complete & accurate setup for on time delivery of pricing proposals.  
  • Research and assist in the resolution of channel conflicts between affected parties
  • Assist Engie Resources sales team in maintaining the accuracy and data quality in the internal CRM system
  • Assist Engie Resources sales team in pre-deal support activities
  • Communicate effectively with internal business units and external partners to address issues such as but not limited to prioritization and revisions of requests, legal contracting entity and account number confirmation
  • Complete Opportunity set-up process for each pricing request using internal CRM system and applicable databases and tools to enable the Sales Team to generate timely bid responses.
  • Help to identify effective process improvements

 

 

What You’ll Bring  

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration or a related field. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of three (3) years of hands‑on experience in the retail electricity industry will be accepted, including direct experience with customer pricing and contract execution
  • You are self-directed and able to quickly learn the business, its processes, and new products
  • You are able to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced sales environment
  • You have excellent organizational skills
  • You act as a collaborative team member with all employees across Engie Resources North America
  • You complete all training requirements commensurate with the position
  • You are knowledgeable in relevant tools, systems, and processes necessary to perform the role effectively

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $57,000 – $87,400 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
