What You Can Expect
As the Senior Project Controls Analyst, you will report to the Director of Commercial Operations within ENGIE’s Distributed Solar & Storage team, which develops decentralized solar and battery assets across the U.S. With more than 450 operating sites and over 20 new projects constructed annually, ENGIE is rapidly expanding its clean energy footprint. You will play a critical role in supporting construction, delivery, and project control activities—working closely with field teams to ensure financial oversight, schedule integrity, compliance, and reporting excellence. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to maintain high standards of project governance as ENGIE accelerates the growth of its distributed energy portfolio.
- Oversee asset cost, schedules, and project documentation, including milestone tracking, change orders, and compliance records
- Lead reporting and risk management through dashboards, quarterly business reviews, and standard operating procedures
- Manage financial activities such as best estimate forecasting, inventory, balance sheet, cash flow, and funding support
- Serve as the primary contact for digital platforms (Salesforce, SAC, Procore, SAP, etc.) and ensure high-quality data management
- Partner with construction and delivery teams to monitor KPIs, budgets, and critical paths, ensuring successful project execution
What You’ll Bring
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting or project control or project management
- Strong computer skills (Advanced Excel proficiency required)
- Must possess strong analytical, initiative, adaptability, hands-on, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills are key for cross-functional collaboration and exposure to senior leadership and major customer
- Travel required (up to 15%) Physically able to visit and walk renewable energy sites throughout the US for extended periods of time in hot or cold weather conditions

Compensation
Salary Range: $74,900 – $124,800 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
