What You Can Expect

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support our project teams with planning, execution, and monitoring of ongoing initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in project management practices.

 

As our Project Management Intern, at ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA), reporting to the Director of PMO, you will be responsible for assisting project managers in coordinating, executing, and monitoring projects across multiple IT areas and solutions. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in project planning, documentation, team collaboration, and process improvement within a Power Trading business environment.

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities
  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and risk logs
  • Coordinate communications between project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely updates
  • Monitor project progress and report issues or delays to supervisors
  • Assist in developing project proposals, plans, and standard operating procedures
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help implement internal project management tools
  • Participate in team meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions
  • Collect and analyze project data to evaluate performance metrics.
  • You can liaise with ENGIE entities and colleagues for knowledge sharing.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have finished sophomore year and you are working toward a Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Project Management or related field where you have learned foundational Project Management knowledge and skills
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to

collaborate with stakeholders, colleagues, and contractors, to

develop and execute projects.

  • Must possess a 3.0 GPA or higher and be able to work between 20 - 40 hours per week.
  • The ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

Additional Details

The internship work term will be from January 2026 to May 2026, full-time work schedule working 20-40 hours per week

Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;

 

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $23.50 - $31.00 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
