What You Can Expect

 

As our Tax Intern, you will be involved in preparing federal tax estimates and assisting with tax reporting for ENGIE's Renewable Energy Tax Equity Partnerships and Corporate Consolidated Group.

 

You will work a hybrid schedule from our Houston, TX offices.  This internship is for the Spring semester from January 5, 2026 to May 29, 2026.

 

Among your day to day activities you will support the HUB Tax team in topics such as tax provisions, tax partnership allocations, investor estimated K-1s, tax basis, tax depreciation and other topics related to corporate and partnership taxation.

 

What You’ll Bring

 

Enrolled in one of the following fields: Tax, Accounting, Finance or related displines. Desired focus should be taxation and seeking a real world experience/exposure in said field of study.

Desire to obtain your CPA

Understanding of basic accounting principals: journal entries, debits/credits, and general understanding of taxes.

Working experience in EXCEL

Outstanding analytical skills and demonstrated expertise in developing and utilizing detailed, Excel-based

 

 

Additional Details

 

This role is eligible for 3 days in office only.

 

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

 

Hourly Range:  $22.50 - $28.50 USD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
