What You Can Expect
As our Retail Power Pricing intern, you will gain hands-on experience with several business systems to understand Power Pricing and support processes related to pricing, product design, and delivering retail pricing solutions to customers. You will also learn about electricity markets by helping develop pricing tools that demonstrate the value of various products offered by ENGIE. This internship is ideal for a self-motivated individual with a strong appetite for learning and a desire to pursue a career in Finance or Risk Management. The role will help you further develop professional skills in applied finance, analytics, product design, and load analysis. This internship opportunity is based in Houston, TX, and spans three months, from January 5, 2026 to May 29, 2026 reporting to the VP, Pricing and Structuring.

- Assist in Pricing & Structuring of retail power products
- Support the development of enhance pricing models and tools
- Conduct mathematical analysis of price, usage, and demand for specific products
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis, guided by Pricing Manager(s) for specific products and markets
- Leverage applied mathematics, econometrics, or statistics to provide deeper insights
- Any and all analysis will be confidential, and work product will be documented
What You’ll Bring
- Must be at least a sophomore (by end of spring semester) working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s student working towards a Master’s in Finance or Data Science degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future sponsorship for employment visa status
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to think analytically, present ideas professionally, and work in project teams
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $23.50 - $35.50 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
