What You Can Expect

As the Accounting Advisor, you will serve as a key liaison for entity divestments, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. You will be responsible for delivering timely accounting insights and maintaining transparency throughout the divestment process. Your collaboration with the M&A team, Consulting Advisors, and GBS Accounting will be essential to uphold data integrity. You will support the preparation of carve-out financial and due diligence documentation. Your expertise will guide post-divestment transitions and ensure alignment with ENGIE’s governance standards. Through your analytical contributions, you will help identify risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.

 

Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules for divestment entities.

Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, IFRS/GAAP standards, and audit requirements.

Act as the primary accounting point of contact for divestment transactions.

Deliver variance analysis, trend reports, and ad hoc financial insights to support decision-making.

Support internal and external audit processes related to accounting activities.

Promote compliance with ENGIE’s policies on Ethics, Cybersecurity, Sustainability, and Diversity.

 

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; 

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in accounting

Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and internal control frameworks

Communication and stakeholder management abilities

Proficiency in ERP systems such as (SAP) and Excel

 

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy;

Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $90,405 – $140,000 USD  annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
