Summary:

The Graphic Designer supports on corporate creative design projects through the entire creative lifecycle.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create design deliverables, including but not limited to short and long technical documents (RFPs, reports), presentations, one‑pagers, digital ads, email communications, web pages, and light video or motion assets (basic editing, trimming, captions) to support brand awareness and top‑of‑funnel marketing initiatives.
• Day‑to‑day responsibilities include quick‑turn document enhancements, asset management, research and concept development, design execution, facilitating approvals, and cross‑functional team collaboration.
• Maintain brand guideline standards and apply to all work conducted.
• Actively participate in creative kickoffs and brainstorming sessions, asking questions and driving to clarify information needed to complete projects.
• Work independently but also collaborate with and take direction from creative and marketing team members, and business stakeholders.
• Manage own time and workload and be able to foresee and communicate roadblocks proactively. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
• Work across multiple timezones to support team members in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
• May assume a lead role in creating the visual and conceptual direction on projects and should also be able to act in a support role for another designer.
• Conduct photo and design research for creation of mood/concept boards and to build on existing image libraries.
• Present ideas and concepts via video meeting.
• Mentor other designers/freelancers when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification/Knowledge:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

Experience:

• 3-5 years professional experience with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree. Or 6+ years of professional experience without an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS:

A well-suited graphic designer in this position will:

• Have intermediate to expert proficiencies in programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
• Use creative problem solving and knows design best practices for respective channels
• Be a self-motivated team player, strong communicator and detail-oriented
• Be well organized and manage a project load under tight deadlines leveraging a project management system
• Collaborate effectively in a virtual and remote environment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

It’s strongly recommended that this graphic designer also:

• Create technical, intricate infographics
• Understand and apply basic UI/UX and accessibility
• Can use a DSLR camera and lighting kit for photo and video content creation, event photography, and other corporate needs. Plus, basic photo and video editing

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Typical office hours are 6:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Traveling for events occurs occasionally and may be required.
• Performing duties and attending events during the evening and on the weekend occurs rarely and may be required.
• Open work environment, Incumbent may be exposed to frequent noise caused by telephones, office machines, and nearby verbal communications among fellow employees.
