Your mission

 

As a Jr BIM Design Engineer Infrastructure in our Infrastructure department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in designing projects related to roads, tramways, airports, tunnels and bridges. 

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Model Support: Assist in the creation and maintenance of 3D BIM models for road infrastructure projects.
  • Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute to the integration of BIM processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Support the review of BIM models and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Data Management: Help organize and maintain project data and documentation.
  • Software Utilization: Gain proficiency in BIM software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) under supervision.
  • Learning and Development: Engage in training sessions to improve BIM skills and industry knowledge.
  • Documentation Preparation: Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.

 

We would love to hear from people with  
 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Civil or Industrial) or a related field.
  • Software Familiarity: Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D design packages, particularly Civil 3D.
  • GIS Exposure: Familiarity/ a first experience with GIS tools for spatial data integration and analysis is recommended.
  • BIM Tools Awareness: Basic understanding of/ A first experience with BIM software packages such as BIM 360 and Navisworks is beneficial.
  • 3D Modeling and Technical Drawing: Introductory skills in creating 3D models and reading technical drawings.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of at least two of the following languages, with basic writing skills: Dutch, English, French.
