As Operations Entity Manager (M/F/X) for the Herdersbrug, Drogenbos, Vilvoorde, and Schaarbeek sites, you will become a full member of the management team of BGB (Bruges-Ghent-Brussels).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Operations Manager
- You represent ENGIE in all major decisions and discussions, managing your sites with care — focusing on people, processes, and results.
- You are the face of the site: the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, and the spokesperson for ENGIE.
- You combine operational leadership with strategic insight: optimizing processes while contributing to the future vision of our production units.
- You lead a team of around 30 shift workers and are a coaching leader who promotes collaboration, safety, and growth.
- You represent ENGIE in consultative bodies such as the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work (CPBW) and the Works Council (OR), and you participate in the BGB operations on-call service.
- You work closely with colleagues within BGB and TBE North to strengthen synergies and share knowledge.
YOUR PROFILE as Operations Manager
- An experienced leader with an engineering degree (industrial or civil) or equivalent experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in the energy sector and 5 years in people management.
- A strong communicator, networker, and team player with a passion for both technology and people.
- Someone who understands operational processes but also sees the bigger picture.
- Fluent in Dutch, with a good command of French and English.
- And above all: someone with growth potential who is ready to take the next step within ENGIE.
