Context:
- To support the growth of our desk, we are looking for a Junior LNG Financial Trader to join our Global LNG Portfolio Management Team, with a primary focus on the European Gas Market. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to LNG and gas trading within a global portfolio, working closely with senior traders, analysts, and risk managers.
Your Mission:
- Support daily financial trading activities related to LNG gas markets (TTF, NBP, PEG, Henry Hub, JKM, etc.)
- Assist in managing price risk, spreads, and optionality across LNG cargoes and regas assets
- Monitor market fundamentals including supply/demand balances, storage levels, flows, weather, and regulatory developments
- Contribute to market analysis, pricing models, and trading strategies for LNG and European gas
- Support portfolio valuation, P&L analysis, and risk reporting
- Coordinate with middle office, risk, and operations teams to ensure accurate trade capture and compliance
- Participate in the continuous improvement of trading tools, analytics, and processes
What we are looking for:
Hard skills:
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills; comfort working with data and models
Soft skills:
- Strong interest in energy markets, particularly LNG and European gas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High level of motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
Languages :
- Proficiency in English, additional language is a plus.
