Land Analyst I

We are seeking a Land Analyst I to manage existing land processes and projects, as well as implement new ones. This role involves representing the Company before external agencies in matters related to property management, aiming to preserve the Company’s real estate assets and add value to the Company, society, and the environment in the regions where the Company’s and its subsidiaries’ plants are located.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Company in land-related matters at internal and external technical meetings, notary services, and with municipal, state, and federal agencies.
  • Analyze documentation related to property assets and data available in the geoprocessing system to regularize the Company’s real estate assets.
  • Analyze boundaries and adjoining properties to the reservoirs operated by the Company and its subsidiaries.
  • Review consent processes for the use of permanent preservation areas (APP).
  • Prepare technical specifications for contracting surveying services, land regularization, and other services related to property demands.
  • Manage contracts for outsourced land services.
  • Establish standards for reviewing land documentation for new plant acquisitions, in collaboration with related departments.
  • Regularize and negotiate Company properties, including current assets, new acquisitions, and subdivisions.
  • Prepare shared documents and property analyses to support legal, environmental, and new project implementation needs.
  • Analyze, create, review, and/or maintain normative documentation and processes within the area.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Engineering, Geography, Law, or related fields;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Surveying;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Cartography (including ArcGIS);
  • Basic knowledge in Project Management;
  • Intermediate computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, internet, email;
  • Basic knowledge in Land Legislation;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Real Estate Law;
  • Basic knowledge in Tax Legislation;
  • Basic knowledge in National Environmental Regulations;
  • Basic knowledge in Geographic Information Systems (GIS);
  • Basic Negotiation Techniques;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Topography;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Property Appraisal;
  • Intermediate knowledge in Notarial Processes.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Postgraduate studies in Geoprocessing, Project Management, or Real Estate Law;
  • Intermediate English.
