Environmental Processes Analyst II

We are looking for an Environmental Processes Analyst II to join the Environmental Management team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the environmental compliance of operating wind power projects, contributing directly to the continuity and sustainable operation of our renewable energy assets. Your Responsibilities
- Manage environmental licensing processes, including permits, authorizations, compliance requirements, and monitoring of deadlines and legal obligations.
- Monitor the environmental management of operating wind farms, proposing preventive, mitigation, and impact control measures.
- Plan and oversee socio-environmental programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project commitments.
- Work closely with Operations teams and related departments, providing technical guidance and supporting the resolution of environmental issues.
- Conduct environmental inspections and field audits, assessing compliance, risks, and supplier adherence to requirements.
- Maintain relationships with environmental agencies, local communities, and other stakeholders, leading meetings and tracking outstanding issues.
- Manage environmental suppliers and consulting firms, including scopes of work, deliverables, schedules, costs, and service quality.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Biology, or related fields.
- Advanced experience in environmental licensing, socio-environmental programs, environmental indicators, and monitoring activities.
- Intermediate knowledge of ISO 14001, cost analysis, budgeting, and technical project management.
- Advanced proficiency in office productivity tools (word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations).
- Intermediate English and basic knowledge of geospatial data processing (GIS).
- Technical knowledge of environmental aspects and impacts throughout the different phases of power generation projects.
- Proactive, organized, and autonomous professional with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Location
Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil – ENGIE Brasil Energia Headquarters.
Hybrid work model, with availability for occasional travel to project sites as required by the department.
