Category Lead Buyer III – High Voltage, Cables & Towers

We are looking for a Category Lead Buyer III to lead the management of the High Voltage Equipment, Cables, and Transmission Towers category. In this role, you will play a central part in the supply chain strategy of our transmission business, working from the identification of needs through to the execution of highly complex contracts, with a direct impact on the company's performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and implement the procurement strategy for the category, conducting market analysis, competitive intelligence, and risk assessments.
- Lead strategic sourcing processes exceeding BRL 3 million, managing negotiations and contract awards efficiently and in compliance with company requirements.
- Manage relationships with strategic suppliers, conducting performance evaluations based on quality, cost, service levels, and ESG indicators.
- Coordinate alignment among internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring the proper execution of Procurement policies and guidelines.
- Support the Category Manager in building the category profile, including demand analysis, supplier mapping, and SWOT development.
- Monitor results, consolidate savings, and report performance, driving continuous improvement and value creation for the business.
- Track technological, regulatory, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation across the supply chain.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Solid experience in strategic procurement, contract management, and supplier negotiations within the high-voltage equipment or transmission infrastructure sectors.
- Advanced English, with the ability to conduct frequent meetings and report to European stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Office 365 and data analysis related to contracts and supplier management.
- Knowledge of project management and legal aspects of contracts.
- Strategic and holistic understanding of the transmission business, with a strong analytical and results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, resilience, and the ability to build relationships in multicultural environments.
