Asset Maintenance Systems Engineer I – Affirmative Action Position for Women – Fixed-Term Contract

This is a fixed-term opportunity to work in substation maintenance engineering. You will be part of a collaborative team, with exposure to real technical challenges and field visits that will broaden your professional experience.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform technical analyses of substation equipment and systems, contributing to the availability and reliability of power generation assets.
  • Monitor maintenance activities, inspections, tests, and commissioning procedures on circuit breakers and medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment.
  • Support the evaluation of maintenance histories, inspection reports, and performance indicators to identify intervention needs.
  • Prepare and update maintenance controls, spreadsheets, records, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct technical visits to power plants to monitor activities and provide support to on-site operational teams.
  • Participate in the preparation of technical reports, engineering assessments, and recommendations related to asset maintenance.
  • Contribute to the standardization of maintenance processes, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic experience with electrical substations and monitoring field interventions.
  • Knowledge of medium- and/or high-voltage circuit breakers and electrical testing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for controls and analyses.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems and technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental standards applicable to the electrical sector.
  • Analytical and organized profile, with strong technical communication and collaborative mindset.
  • Availability for travel and technical visits to power plants.

Location

Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil – ENGIE Brasil Energia Headquarters, EMAS Department. Hybrid work model, combining on-site activities at headquarters and technical visits to power plants.
