🎯 Your Mission

As a Financial Operations & Data Analyst Intern, you will join our Finance & Operations team in Madrid to support daily activities in the energy markets (power, renewables, gas, LNG, certificates).

During this internship you will:

 

  1. Monitor daily P&L and produce reporting for internal stakeholders.
  2. Validate trading operations and support accounting reconciliations.
  3. Assist in OPEX & CAPEX control and reporting of monthly KPIs.
  4. Maintain and update cost center structures in SAP.
  5. Support the analysis of large invoices and contracts.
  6. Contribute to process automation and data flows using Python / BI tools.
  7. Provide data and reports to FO, TAX, Treasury, and Accounting teams.

 

✅ What we’re looking for

  • Final-year student or recent graduate in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or Data Science.
  • Data-driven, analytical mindset, interested in energy and markets.
  • Comfortable coding (Python, SQL, R or similar).
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, or visualization tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is an asset, not a must).
  • Curious, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
