About the Role

This role will be responsible for ensuring the business is fully OFGEM and ISCC compliant at all times.  The job holder will manage and coordinate all RHI, FiT and ISCC accreditations,  certifications and ensure all relevant reports and submissions are delivered on time and are correct.

 

This is a Hybrid role assigned to our Gorst Office in Clyst St Mary (Exeter) where the successful candidate would be based.   On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package and the chance to make a difference in the energy transition.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and coordinating all RHI, FiT and ISCC accreditations and certifications
  • Ensuring that all Ofgem and ISCC reports are correct and on time.
  • Ensure all quarterly and Monthly RHI and FiT submissions are on time and correct.
  • Raise REGOs and RGGOs and ensure all associated reports are correct, on time and delivered to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Report RHI and FT related revenue streams to Accounts team and advise where delays may occur
  • Notifying Ofgem of any changes to systems in a timely manner and following through with Ofgem to ensure accounts are up to date correct and accreditations are not jeopardised
  • Engaging with site Managers to keep abreast of any changes to heat and power circuits that may need action addressing with Ofgem
  • Provide guidance to sites where required to ensure they remain fully RHI, FiT and ISCC compliant
  • Undertake periodic internal audits to drive compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring all feedstocks used are Ofgem compliant
  • Be the focal point and assume for all Ofgem and ISCC external audits. Fully engage with auditors to ensure successful outcomes for audits.
  • Ensure sites are constantly audit ready
  • Undertake Supplier audits to ensure ISCC, RHI and FT compliance
  • Assume responsibility for interacting with Energy Management for sale of RGGO/REGOs
  • Work with Energy Management Portfolio Manager to ensure correct volumes are hedged as per hedging policy

Knowledge and skills:

  • Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness and an orderly and responsible approach to work 
  • 5 years’ experience in working with regulatory bodies
  • Experience of Energy trading and derivates desirable
  • Hands on approach
  • Full clean driving license
  • Team Player with collaborative approach to work
  • Strong negotiations experience.

 

Experience and qualifications

  • Degree in science related subjects or equivalent demonstrable experience.
