Position Mission: 

Ensure and maintain optimal operating and safety conditions for the NG distribution system facilities, as well as comply with the standards set by the Mexican Official Standards, international references and internal guidelines, in order to contribute to the achievement of objectives, measurement imbalances and operational efficiency.

Your Impact: As Chief of Stations you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to our mission by performing the following key functions:

Prepare, schedule and coordinate the execution of the annual maintenance plan for the network under your responsibility.

Coordinate operational work during emergencies (major emergency, grade 1 leaks, damage to the network, impacts on industrial customers) of the distribution network.

Ensure that emergency response process indicators are within established parameters by coordinating the personnel under their charge.

Be part of the home guard role in accordance with current policy.

Manage the execution of the annual training plan for the staff in charge.

Successfully complete and approve the training plan for the personnel under their supervision. Execute investment projects and the assigned annual budget. Generate reports or official letters requested by the competent authorities. Respond to audits and visits by competent authorities to the facilities or infrastructure under their responsibility.

Ensure that the technical documentation for new projects (gas commissioning and/or start-up) complies with the corresponding policies and regulations. Ensure the availability of spare parts, materials, and tools for the proper operation and maintenance of City Gates, EDs, ERMs, and METERING SETs. Follow up and close findings from audits and/or hierarchical safety visits. Maintain ongoing relationships and communication with the authorities in the distribution area. Ensure that current operating and maintenance forms, procedures, and instructions are correctly generated and safeguarded.

Requirements: To join our team as Chief of Stations, we are looking for:

  • Education and Experience: Industrial, Chemical, and Petroleum Engineer with 3 years of experience in similar activities.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of natural gas systems, engineering and maintenance, automation and control, industrial safety management, regulations and compliance, technical software management, SAP PM, maintenance software, and use of digital tools for data monitoring and analysis.
  • Key Competencies: Team leadership, decision-making, conflict management, results-orientation, critical thinking, project management.
  • Languages: Intermediate English
