Maintenance Technician I – Affirmative Position for Women

Your responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on plant equipment, ensuring operational availability and reliability.
• Participate in the commissioning of new systems and monitor outsourced maintenance services, ensuring quality and technical compliance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes by proposing ideas and solutions applicable to the energy generation process.
• Maintain up-to-date technical records by preparing reports, completing forms, and updating equipment technical documentation.
• Specify materials, issue purchase requisitions, and inspect and receive materials required for maintenance activities.
• Comply with and promote Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, demonstrating safe behavior in all activities.
• Organize and carry out work in accordance with internal procedures, contributing to the preservation and proper functioning of plant assets.

Requirements and qualifications

• Technical degree in Mechanical and/or Electromechanical Engineering, with an active CFT registration.
• Basic knowledge of plant equipment and systems, health and safety standards, and maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with IT tools, integrated management systems, and maintenance management software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, flowcharts, and equipment manuals.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work well in diverse teams.
• Proactivity, organization, and commitment to operational standards and procedures.
• Resilience and adaptability to work in a high-demand operational environment with a dynamic plant routine.
• Desirable: knowledge of IBM Maximo, basic English, and a Category B driver’s license.
