About the Role
We’re looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to join our Energy Management & B2B team in Melbourne. Reporting to the B2B Performance Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and scalable data and reporting solutions that support operational performance, billing, sales support and business decision-making. You'll work across a range of enterprise systems and partner with stakeholders to transform data into meaningful insights that drive efficiency, performance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, transform and maintain data from enterprise platforms, including billing, Salesforce and market data systems.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and recurring data outputs that support business operations and performance monitoring.
- Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation and traceability processes to support operational, billing and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver analysis and reporting to support billing investigations, forecasting, variance analysis and operational decision-making.
- Partner with operational, billing and sales stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable reporting and insights.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, improve efficiencies and reduce manual effort across the business.
About you
You’re a data-focused professional who enjoys solving complex problems, uncovering insights and working collaboratively with stakeholders. You combine strong technical capability with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- A tertiary qualification in IT, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data extraction, transformation and data modelling.
- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel.
- Experience working with data warehouse environments such as CDH, EDW or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of data quality frameworks, validation processes and dataset dependencies.
- Exposure to automation tools such as Power Automate and/or Python (desirable).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build effective relationships across the business.
