ROLE DESCRIPTION: |
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be part of the Finance team. This role does not require travelling. The Finance Manager is to assist the Senior Finance Manager in managing the overall finance and accounting, tax, and to support the achievement of the organisation's goals and objectives. This role will give you the opportunity to manage, together with the Senior Finance Manager, a team of 4 persons.
You will be based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia. The main office is in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, and this will be your primary location of work. From time to time, you will have the possibility to work from the representative office in downtown Kuala Lumpur.

RESPONSIBILITIES: |
- Responsible for the finance and accounting operations of several legal entities with various degrees of complexity and various nature of business. In particular, this role will give you a great exposure to the Renewable and Energy Efficiency business.
- Responsible for month-end closing such as posting/uploading data and updating accounting records on timely basis including journal entries for accrual & prepayment, revenue recognition, lease, fixed assets and depreciation schedule etc.
- Reviewing full set of accounts including the preparation for monthly financial reports.
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) function, including billing, collections, overdue balances, and aging reports to support healthy cash flow.
- Review and approve payment batches in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
- Preparation of SST & corporate tax related matters.
- Ensure effective internal controls, corporate governance, and compliance with accounting policies to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
- Liaising with internal and external parties (auditors, tax agents, company secretary etc.)
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team in resolving complex accounting issues, reconciliations, and ad hoc assignments.
- Handling administrative and any other ad hoc assignments as required by the superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: |
- Education and Qualification:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance
- A Professional Membership (e.g ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
- Experience:
- At least 6-8 years working experience, 2 years in full sets accounting and 3 years in audit environment.
- Prior experience in a Big 4 or Multi-National Company is an advantage.
- Solid knowledge in Malaysian Tax is an advantage.
- Personality or Soft skills:
- Self-driven, pro-active and positive personality, with eagerness to learn and excel.
- Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving, attentive to details, and uphold high standard of ethics and integrity.
