MISSION
Lead the technical development of Public Lighting projects, focusing on innovation, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Ensure sustainable, technically viable solutions aligned with urban demands, while mentoring junior designers and validating technical deliverables.
MAIN ACTIVITIES

Prepare and validate technical project documentation;

Develop complete Public Lighting projects: design, lighting calculations, drawings, technical reports, and electrical diagrams;

Validate projects developed by lower-level designers (Designers I and II);

Ensure that all projects comply with technical standards (NBR 5101, NBR 5410, etc.), utility requirements, and client guidelines;

Perform advanced lighting calculations and simulations;
-
Carry out detailed calculations of illuminance, uniformity, losses, installed power, and efficiency;

Use software such as Dialux EVO, Relux, or other tools for simulations and technical validation;
-
Provide technical support during implementation;
-
Offer technical guidance to field teams during project execution;

Respond to technical inquiries from municipalities, utilities, and other stakeholders;

Participate in site inspections, field surveys, and validations when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
-
Higher education in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, etc.);

Technical background in Electrotechnics, Electronics, and/or Building Construction.
Certifications:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, DIALux EVO / Relux, QGIS / ArcGIS, Microsoft Office (Excel for technical and budget spreadsheets).
Experience:

Advanced lighting calculations;
-
Smart LED projects and telemanagement systems;
-
Solar photovoltaic solutions applied to Public Lighting;

Performance simulations and comparative efficiency analyses;
-
Experience with public-private partnership projects (PPPs), PMIP, PMAE, and other public programs.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Full command of ABNT NBR 5101 and related standards (e.g., NBR 5410, NBR 8995);
-
Strong knowledge of utility regulations, ANEEL guidelines, PROCEL standards, and public bidding criteria.
