About ENGIE Renewables & Flex Power GBU
The Renewables & Flexible Power Global Business Unit (RF-GBU) is a key driver of ENGIE’s transition toward clean and resilient energy systems. With 102 GW of installed capacity across 20 countries and an EBIT around €4.1Bn, RF-GBU brings together 9,000 employees representing over 50 nationalities. Our portfolio includes Solar (9 GW), Onshore Wind (16 GW), Offshore Wind (2 GW), Hydro (17.7 GW), Storage (6 GW), and Thermal Generation (51 GW).
Our ambition: Reach 95 GW of Renewables and BESS by 2030, largely driven by Wind, Solar, and Battery Storage.
About the role
ENGIE’s Data Center Acceleration (DCA) team leads the Group’s global strategy and commercial activities for the data center ecosystem—working with hyperscalers, colocators, development companies, and infrastructure partners. During this mission, you will help the team translate strategy into execution: tracking market movements and deal flow, shaping first‑cut (v0) commercial materials, supporting Steering Committees, and maintaining datasets and dashboards used for EXCOM and program reporting.
Key Responsabilities
1) Market Intelligence : Competitor watch & deal‑flow Tracking
-Build and maintain a structured competitor landscape for hyperscalers, colocators, and infrastructure funds; monitor announcements and summarize implications for ENGIE.
-Maintain a living deal‑flow tracker across regions (Europe, US; additional geographies as relevant), capturing origination status, co‑siting prospects (i.e. powered land transactions), energy sales and management opportunities; ensure data quality and regular refresh.
-Conduct structured desk research on demand growth, siting patterns, permitting pathways, and decarbonization products in collaboration with third party
-Summarize insights into short memos and slide addenda with recommended next‑step actions for origination and program teams.
2) Commercial strategy and support
-Contribute to the structuring and positioning of commercial opportunities, including client briefings and steering sessions, articulating ENGIE’s value proposition and recommended pathways forward.
-Apply standard DCA templates and structure to accelerate review cycles.
3) Program steering support
-Support the preparation of materials for Steering Committees: agenda, action register, status updates vs. targets; coordinate pre‑reads and capture decisions and owners.
-Consolidate regional inputs for EXCOM and Group reporting, ensuring consistency of narrative, KPIs, and strategic messaging across geographies.
4) Reporting : data, dashboard & target setting
-Keep the central dataset up to date (pipeline, milestones, risks, decision log)
-Produce and iterate dashboards that track progress against global targets, highlighting variances and corrective actions.
-Support the establishment of common pipeline tracking and basic quality control across priority regions.
Expected Outcomes / KPIs
On‑time delivery of SteerCo packs and v0 decks; minimal rework cycles.
Accuracy and freshness of the pipeline dataset and dashboards (weekly refresh; zero critical inconsistencies).
Action tracking: closure rate of SteerCo actions by due date (US/EU).
Insight quality: number of competitor/trend briefs that inform prioritization and origination next steps.
