ENGIE - Legal Department ENGIE Renewables & Flexible Global Business Unit ("R&F GBU")
Within the ENGIE Group, the R&F GBU's mission is to develop, build, finance, operate and maintain all of ENGIE's renewable electricity production assets, including hydro, wind, photovoltaic, marine energy and battery energy storage system. To develop and achieve these different objectives, the Legal France, Financing and PPA department of the R&F GBU is looking for an apprentice legal counsel.

The role is based in La Défense – ENGIE headquarter and reports to the Head of Legal France, Financing and PPA.
Essential job functions
Reporting to the Legal Department of the R&F GBU, within a multidisciplinary legal team, you will be required to:
- Participate in the R&F GBU's M&A and project financing operations (acquisitions, disposals, partnerships) in support of the team's lawyers (Due Diligence, shareholders' agreements, JV agreements, acquisitions and disposals of shares, guarantees, financing contracts, securities) in collaboration with the project teams of the various departments;
- Provide assistance on certain "corporate" files such as restructuring operations, ethics & compliance files, company management, etc.;
- Conduct occasional research in corporate law, business law, renewable energy law in France and, if necessary, abroad;
- Support the team's lawyers in the preparation of opinions, notes, and recommendations for the Group's internal operational governance committees; and
- Develop document templates (confidentiality agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, contracts, etc.).
Mandatory pre-requisites
- You are aiming for a career as a business lawyer and have at least a Master's degree (Master 2) specializing in business law or a similar field.
- You have already completed significant internships in an international context in law firms or large companies.
- You have a perfect command of written and spoken French and legal business English.
- You are dynamic, proactive, available and willing.
