COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST ( EXTERNAL )
The Role:
- The Corporate Identity and Reputation Specialist role is responsible for planning and implementing external communications that protect and promote ENGIE Impact’s corporate identity.
The ideal candidate will have proven ability to execute communication plans, strong writing and editing skills, and a natural ability to think strategically while delivering tactical results.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the development and delivery of external communications that promote the ENGIE Impact brand, public reputation, executive presence, and business successes.
- Draft, edit, format, and post communications across multiple channels (e.g., social media, press releases, or website content), originating from a range of sources.
- Maintain adherence to established brand guidelines and provide brand guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Build relationships with relevant media contacts and liaise with external vendors to execute effective media relations.
- Manage the ENGIE Impact corporate social media presence.
- Work with key internal stakeholders, including executives, to coordinate social media campaigns, and lead the Brand Ambassador Program and Expert Initiative.
Support external crisis communications as needed; support vendor communications as needed.
Skills and Abilities and Education
- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or other relevant fields
- At least 3 plus years of professional experience
- Outstanding oral and written communications skills including excellent writing, editing, and proofreading
- Willingness to build relationships and collaborate with the Communications and Marketing teams
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across the business
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel)
Work Environment:
- Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week

In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At ENGIE Impact, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining pay. Actual pay will vary depending on factors including but not limited to education, experience, skills, qualifications, location, and internal equity. All offers will be in compliance with all local, state, and federal minimum wage requirements.
The target pay range for this position is $63,000-$90,000
In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off, paid holidays, and annual bonus.
