What You'll Do
- Perform detail engineering and structural design of substation structures up to 220 kV and above using STAAD.Pro.
- Develop civil and structural designs for equipment foundations, control buildings, and support structures.
- Prepare structural drawings, design calculations, and technical specifications for substation projects.
- Review and validate designs from internal teams and external vendors to ensure code compliance.
- Design pile-type and conventional foundations for substation structures.
- Lead a team of engineers on civil design deliverables and coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clients and provide expert structural design guidance.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering; Master's in Civil, Structural, or Energy Studies is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in civil and structural design of substations.
- Strong proficiency in STAAD.Pro for structural analysis and design.
- Working knowledge of IS, BS, Euro or IEC design codes for substation structures.
- Familiarity with PLS Tower or PLS CADD is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
