Position Mission: Design and implement the security strategy for people and tangible property of ENGIE across all its lines of business, always ensuring the implementation of the group's security policy and Mexico's policy, as well as all related procedures.

Your Impact: As People Security and Tangible Property Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to our mission by performing the following key functions:

Inform and advise the manager on the safety of ENGIE's operational areas across all its business lines.

Comply with and enforce safety policies, standards, and procedures, generally applicable and standardized at ENGIE Mexico facilities across all its lines of business.

Maintain an up-to-date analysis, at both the national and local levels, of security risks and threats that may arise from criminal phenomena, natural disasters, and social dynamics, in order to address them diligently while safeguarding the interests of the Group in Mexico. This is in accordance with methodologies approved by the Senior Management of Asset Security.

Propose, design, implement, and develop the continuous improvement plan for security systems suitable for ENGIE Mexico's assets, according to the risk environment in which they operate.

Coordinate and supervise the proper management of the access control system, CCTV, and alarm systems of the facilities. They will be responsible for ensuring that the local control room and the Security Operations Center (COPS) maintain full visibility and analytical capabilities.

Responsible for monitoring the security of ENGIE Mexico's operational areas to promptly warn of risks and threats, in order to design appropriate contingency plans.

Manage security measures and provide support, in special cases, to national and international visitors with activities in the country.

Design and deliver safety training to ENGIE members to enhance the Safety culture at ENGIE.

Liaison and coordination with Security authorities at the three levels of government—local, state, and federal—to assist in proper emergency management with the support of authorities, according to the site.

Report any risk situation in a timely manner for its proper management and resolution, in accordance with standardized emergency plans for ENGIE Mexico.

Security assistance to ENGIE members who require it.
Timely reporting of security incidents, as well as their development and resolution.
Coordinate and supervise the proper management of Networks emergencies at a national level, in accordance with established standards.

Contribute to the compliance with internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures related to Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and the Environment, in accordance with the job functions.

Requirements: To join our team as People Security and Tangible Property Manager, we are looking for:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, intelligence, or criminology
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of critical infrastructure protection, Technical knowledge of CCTV, Certifications in asset security management (CPP or equivalent) – DESIRABLE
  • Key Competencies: Analytical, synthesis, and writing skills, Ability to respond in risky or crisis situations, Stress management, Staff attention, Ability to build connections and relationships
  • Languages: Advanced English
