What You Can Expect
As a Contracts Management, Advisor, you’ll be responsible for the commercial structuring of supplier / manufacturers and labor (contractors) agreements, contract delivery strategy, and associated negotiations with involved parties for ENGIE’s Distributed Solar and Storage Team. Every day you will ensure that projects are properly contracted in compliance with procurement policies and ethics charter. Additionally, you will manage the contract documentation incorporating project requirements, identifying project risks, and incorporating risk mitigation strategies, negotiating and formalizing all contracts.
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in contract management for industrial projects or developments
- A strong background in contract development and/or contract administration, including an understanding of procurement procedures

Manage the development of contracts with multiple stakeholders, evaluating agreements from a commercial standpoint and ensuring risks are identified and mitigation measures are in place
- Develop contracting strategy to adequately flow down provisions to responsible parties and limit company’s exposure to an acceptable level
- Negotiate terms and conditions with contractors for medium and large projects related to energy systems with existing partnerships and new opportunities
- Create and negotiate consulting services agreements with external consulting firms
- Prepare final contract, award letter and Notice to Proceed as appropriate
- Review Change Order Requests and drives the negotiations with the supplier/contractor using negotiations skills while utilizing the project team and contract terms
- Prepare final Change Orders for signature based on the results of negotiations.
- Review original equipment manufacturer warranty documents and negotiate favorable terms to ENGIE DSS and communicate the risk to internal stakeholders

Compensation
Salary Range: $113,900 – $174,570 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an incentive plan.
