Internship purpose:

  • Strategic intelligence & stakeholder management
  • Institutional relations and communication
  • Market research, thematic files
  • Support to the CEO on specific issues

 

Tasks & duties:

  • Conduct research and analysis to provide strategic intelligence for the organization, including analyzing industry trends and identifying emerging opportunities and risks. Prepare thematic files and reports on specific energy-related topics.
  • Support management of stakeholder relationships, including developing and maintaining relationships with partners, customers, industry associations, clusters, ...
  • Assist in the preparation of internal and external communications, including social media community management, newsletters, reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in planning events, conferences, webinars, and meetings.
  • Provide support to the CEO on specific issues through preparing meetings and drafting notes

 

Communication and working relationships:

Internal:

Close and ongoing interaction with all internal ENGIE stakeholders across Northern Africa, as well as with the AMEA hub and the Group.
Strong cross-functional collaboration with Head Office functional teams and business units will be essential to ensure alignment, performance, and the successful delivery of topics, projects, and programs.

External:

The role involves developing and managing a wide range of direct and indirect relationships with clients, partners, institutions, and other external stakeholders, within a multicultural and fast‑evolving environment.

 

Education:

Master 2 in progress (business school, institute of political studies, ...)

 

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to structure thinking, formulate relevant recommendations, and provide sound insights to support decision‑making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering cooperation, cross‑functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to independently and proactively manage multiple topics, projects, and priorities simultaneously in a complex and evolving environment, with a very high level of rigor, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Strong sense of initiative and solution‑oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges, propose concrete actions, and actively contribute to value creation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in institutional relations and solid understanding of the energy sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and other relevant digital solutions.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and French is essential; knowledge of Arabic is considered a valuable asset.
